My personal quest for healthy living, my empathy for the human condition and my love for working with plants and plant medicine is what brought me to choose the study and practice of Chinese medicine.
I have a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and have been licensed since 2007. I am a nationally accredited and Colorado licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist.
My hope as a practitioner is to guide and nurture one on their self-empowered path toward healing and continued wellness. My role as a practitioner is to use Traditional Chinese Medicine as a supportive complement of care for the family. Chinese Medicine can optimize our health and the healing process and it is an option of care that can help with many non-life threatening health issues.
Additional training outside of my Traditional Chinese Medicine degree, I have decided to strengthen and follow my interests in herbal medicine, women’s and children’s health. I have continued my women’s health studies with Aviva Romm, in a women’s health educator and Western herbal medicine program and have learned a needleless technique (shonishin) taught by Soma Glick, that is well received by infants and toddlers.
Aside from building a TCM practice, I also volunteer my acupuncture services to hospice patients through Agape Healthcare.
